Kegan, is one of the Bandits encountered in the mountain pass. He is one of Torquil's loyal followers, and is lighthearted and jovial. He brings one of his wives, Merith, (seven or eight on last count) to the camp to cook food for the men. He fights bravely against the Slayers when they storm the Black Fortress, but is shot while saving Torquil. Upon his death, he says, "Tell Merith I loved her." He is portrayed by Liam Neeson, better known for his role as Qui-Gon Jinn from the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.
